You Should Also Know
Effective 1 January 2023, a tourism tax of RM 10 per room per night applies to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and is collected at check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card (MyKad) or valid Malaysian permanent resident card (MY PR) are exempt.
Payment and Card Use: The name on the credit card used for booking must match the staying guest. Third-party payments are not accepted.
