Best Christmas Buffet in Singapore; 8 Places for a Joyful Celebration [2024]

Truth be told, going to a Christmas buffet in Singapore was always looked forward to with a myriad of emotions. There was joy from witnessing one of the grandest street decors, guilt from posting the not-so-perfect angle of our rear on Instagram because we had too many turkeys, and confusion from getting sandwiched between kissing couples inside the MRT while thinking of our most recent date. Whatever feelings we’ve gone through, these 8 Christmas buffets will jolt our taste buds and make us believe that maybe this year will be better than the last. At least, until we see the bill and realize we’ve just mortgaged our house.

Overconfidence, much like the rabbit in the race, comes with its own ramifications when you underestimate others. Fortunately, that will not be the case when Sentosa Island’s first adults-only rooftop bar is situated in the same proximity as the restaurant Sol & Ora. With a mantra of “always close, but never closed,” the restaurant offers breathtaking views of Palawan Beach. Gently gobble their Oven Baked Suckling Pig Rack and enjoy a variety of free-flows during Christmas Day Ala Carte Buffet Brunch, starting at $78 onwards.

6. Marina Bay Sands

And the winner for The Best Christmas Buffet goes to…(drumroll)…Rise. That’s when the restaurant snagged the RAS Epicurean Star Award in 2023. Not bad, considering if there’s an award this year, our vote is going to Christmas Baked Sumac Whole Salmon – solely because it’s responsibly sourced. Let’s be real, we just want everyone to see us as the Greta Thunberg of buffets. Sure, we drove here in a petrol car, but hey, eating sustainable fish makes up for it, right? Anyway, lunch and dinner on 24 and 25 December start from $138 onwards.
