Crowne Plaza Penang Straits City is one of the best hourly hotels for those vacationing in Pulau Penang. It is on the mainland, but very close to the port, meaning there are so many great places that are easy for you to explore in a day. For times when you prefer not to go anywhere, the hotel can pamper you with the lavish experience – an infinity pool facing the ocean, spacious rooms with glass walls, a contemporary interior, and even a luxurious club lounge to get cozy in.

Room size is just nice. Nice view from hotel. Service is excellent! Staff is polite and friendly. Had their breakfast buffet spread which had a good variety of Malaysian food and tasted really good. Attended a wedding dinner there. Very spacious ballroom. Service during the dinner was great. Overall, had a good experience.

Hotel Maya KLCC cleverly combines the calming Malay heritage with the energetic modernity into its aesthetic. But what makes it deserve a spot in a list of the best hourly hotels is the next-level facilities. Book your spot here when you explore KLCC and use the hotel’s hydrotherapy pool to relax your muscles and brain. It is less than a 10-minute walk from the famous Petronas Towers.

Great hotel. Rooms are nice, spacious, clean. Staff are super helpful and polite. We also had the breakfast buffet which great and had plenty of options.
Location was fantastic. Short walk from the petronus towers. 20 minute walk to Jalan Tar. Convenient locations for grabs and many attractions. Would definitely recommend.

MOV Hotel wins big in the artistic category of best hourly hotels. The atmosphere feels energetic and youthful, especially the coworking lounge and its adult-sized spiral slide. Location-wise, you’ll just need to walk around the corner to get to Jalan Alor and all the hip cafes in the district. Even the MRT station is very close, offering easy access to any other part of the city.

Honestly didn’t expect the hotel to be this good! The vibe, the design, the facilities  everything feels way above what I imagined. And the location? Crazy good. U can literally walk everywhere, cafes, malls, street food, all just around the corner✨ The room was my fav part though, super cozy, clean, and homey. It doesn’t even feel like a hotel, more like a stylish little apartment. Such a pleasant surprise, can’t wait to stay here again next time I’m in KL🙌🏻

A little glance at the map, and you will see why many people pick their stay at Le Meridien Putrajaya as their transit point. So many great spots are only in less than 10 minutes – IOI City Mall, MAEPS, G2G Animal Garden, and even the large enclosure of Putrajaya Wetlands Park. As one of the best hourly hotels in Malaysia, of course, you can expect more than a nice location. The whole aesthetic sparks a holiday vibe with bright light, large windows, and vibrant color. And if you are on a romantic escapade, the en-suite bathroom has large glass windows, both towards the bedroom and overlooking the open sea – how sensational!

Stayed at Le Meridien Putrajaya and truly enjoyed the experience. The bed was super soft and comfy, the room was big, clean and well-kept, and the staff were all very friendly. The breakfast spread was one of the best—so many choices! Loved that they also had a kids’ room for the little ones to play. Perfect for families!

10. Hilton Petaling Jaya

In for a romantic retreat? Hilton Petaling Jaya is one of the best hourly hotels for such an agenda. Start it with a complete spa treatment and enjoy your relaxing time together at the sun lounge by the lagoon-like swimming pools. Inside the room, the stylish bathtub and stunning window views will set the mood to get intimate. And once it is time to check out, you can extend your date by exploring the nearby restaurant and bars.

We stayed here for 4 days. Almost everything fine for me. Just the check in process took quite long, only one reception counter handle the check in process. The room big enough for 3 of us. Nice decoration, no bad smell. Everything good. There were varieties of breakfast menu. But the taste for me just a minimum bar. But the staf and chef of the restaurant really have very good soft skill and friendly too. I felt welcomed . Good job guys 👏

15. Capri by Fraser Johor Bahru

best hourly hotels
Source: Flow

Johor Bahru is a lovable getaway destination from both Malaysia and Singapore, so you can pretty much find some of the best hourly hotels in the country there. Capri by Fraser Johor Bahru serves a balance between prices, experience, and facilities. Right at the city center near a station, you can easily go anywhere – malls, cafes, the zoo, and even the famous Legoland.

Conveniently located just slightly away from all the noise and crowd, this is always one of my few go to hotels especially when prices drop. Good clean rooms and friendly staff. Only small downside is just claiming the free parking where you have to go to the lobby to activate it and then head down to your lot after. Rooms have a good unblocked view as well. Highly recommend!

FAQs

Why do I have to go to Flow to make reservations at these best hourly hotels?

It is mainly because most hotels do not allow hourly-based reservations at their reception desk. Besides, Flow connects with plenty of hotels in the country, making it easy to see which are the best hourly hotels to book at your desired time slots.

Do these best hourly hotels allow me to extend my stay at hourly rates after my time slot ends?

Instead of extending, you will book the time slot after your original one to secure your place in the same hotel. It is not guaranteed that the same room and the next time slot would still be available by the time your original reservation ends. However, you might find other best hourly hotels available nearby as alternatives.
